Gutenberg Bible

Picture
Gutenberg printed about 180 copies of his 42-line Bible; 48 are still in existence, although only 21 are complete. Many of them can be viewed online. The most interesting website is the British Library, which has a complete Bible both on paper and on vellum. Click on "Texts" and view either of the Bibles or compare the two.
